Treatment at The NY Heart Center typically begins with an office consult following the patient’s referral from his or her physician. This visit is designed to evaluate the patient’s condition and advise the patient of the best approach to maximize the care of the heart.

Laboratory

The NY Heart Center is equipped with an on-site laboratory, conveniently located in our main office. The lab operates daily, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Laboratory staff is capable of performing a wide range of blood tests commonly ordered for diagnosis and patient monitoring. The NY Heart Center is committed to offering all current, necessary lab testing related to cardiac care, and continually updates equipment and provides staff training to remain up to date with these procedures.

Diagnostic Echocardiography
|
|
|
|
|
|
An echocardiogram is a common test used to diagnose heart conditions. This test uses sound waves to create images of the heart which are interpreted by a NY Heart Center physician. The latest echocardiographic equipment is also used in conjunction with treadmill stress testing to diagnose coronary artery disease.
